don't know what it was about this watch, but I just didn't care for it. Don't know why, it had all the bells and whistles, tt Oyster bracelet, black tux dial, don't know. Oh well, somebody's enjoying it. Can't remember who I sold it to...

don't really know what it's worth. I bought it from a friend of mine who used to work for the United Nations and was based in Switzerland. He sold it to me for $2000 bucks with all the goodies included. I think I got around $2800 for it. The watch was in 95% near mint condition - all except for the hairlines on the gold Oyster links...

Perhaps it was the diamater of the watch that gave the watch a temporary stay in your collection? I know I purchased a 1970 Oyster Precision that I thought I'd love (made the same year I was born) but it was just too darn small when I got it so I gave it to my girlfriend. Best,

one John! Does the gfriend like it? the gfriend (ex) does like it....though it's a hand wound watch so she doesn't wear it that much (we're still friends and see each other quite often at church). I put a nice Banda croc strap on it and it looks really nice. John
