Listed at $899, dropped to $699, Croc strap, 7750 power and 48m. Using a discount coupon and paypal for fee shipping and another on-line rebate site, paid less than $550 for one. Perfect ;D I purchased the one above. SS version which I have in 44m and which a lot of WIS purchased this week in 48mm. my cheap Admirale homage watch. go figure.

I snagged the blue dial on the bracelet. 5% cash back, 20% off coupon and free shipping. Too good of a deal to pass up!

Nice looking piece. But you know the drill: size matters - and this one's too big for me.

Have 2 of the original Admiral's black on crocodile and blue on stainless steel.The 48mm is just to big for me.But at $699-coupon they are a steal.Still the best deal on the network.

Ordered the blue dial with ss. Don't know what came over me. I may cancel as for this price it has to get wrist time and I'm not sure it will at 48mm. I did not see a 20% coupon, where did you find it. Did have an 80.00 off and 3% back which dropped it to about 600.

@birdman
I used ebates for a 5% cash rebate and coupon code yshopeb. it did not work at first but after 10 minutes of live TV it worked. I suspect they had it locked for a bit. I also used paypal for the free shipping.
My total cost was under $550 for a Valjoux 7750 powered watch. Compare that to the Invicta Subaqua at $1800 for the same motor.

I picked up the blue and brown dials both on the stainless steel. $699 minus 20% through ebates and paypal it ended up being a pretty good deal.

I was going to pickup the brown dial with the brown croc strap as a second purchase until I saw it live. The dial looked a bit washed out to me compared to my Renato brown dial. So only the black w black strap. Looking forward to another wobbler. ;D

I ordered a blue admirale with ss bracelet. I was able to take advantage of the 20% coupon and free paypal shipping as well !
I am excited as this will be my first 7750 movement watch. I was going to get a reserve automatic speedway but I think this is a much better value for now.

I was able to locate the 5% cash back on ebates, but where do I look to obtain a 20% coupon? I'd like to use one. Thanks.

Might I suggest checking out www.FatWallet.com. ShopNBC is offering 6.4% cash back thru Dec.31st. I bought the brown on SS since I already own the black and silver dial 44's. I'm in the air about it because it is simply looks to me like a "sea of brown" void of any accents. But I want to try it out anyways.

I couldn't help myself. I took a flyer on the black on black croc. I've been looking for a more casual black dial and this just might fit the bill.
