Hi guys, Well it seems they don't do the mid-size SMP 300m anymore. I bought a new one few month ago I'm a little concerned about spares ( bezel, saphire, bracelet) in a few years. It should be OK with the movement though since it's a 2500 coax. Theorically, the spares are garanted for 20 years. What do you think ?

Hmmm..... not sure what policy they follow. I know in the US, typically spare parts are produced 7 years after support of a product has been terminated.

Jon Which SMP300m has a Co-Axial 2500C? Are you talking about the mid-size Bond 2222.80? I think you can be certain that if local Omega centers do not themselves support older movements, they would point you in the direction of specialists who have a close relationship with Omega themselves. Specialist Time Services for instance service older Speedy Pro movements for Omega in the UK and enjoy a very close relationship with them. Bienne of course would be willing to take in any watch of any age. Enjoy your watch and be well my friend ZIN Not usually shaken nor stirred ;D ;D ;D

Hi Houston, The watch is indeed the 2222.80.00. I'd just want to be reassured about being able to get spares if I wreck my bracelet in 10 years or so. I'm sure I'll have to send it to Bienne. That's not so bad it's 5hours from where I live (I know the region, I worked for Rolex in Geneva for 2 years). I guess it's all a question of trust in Omega. A bientôt
