My new Speedy is fitting right in that spot where another link removed is a bit too tight and the link back in is a tad loose. I'm going with the looser comfortable fit but it got me wondering if there is a fashion standard or guideline that you veterans go by. What is the typical preference for you? Mike

I'd rather a bit loose than a bit tight.
I prefer "just right" (which doesn't always happen)

well Mr Mike, I think I wear mine a bit loose but I like to be able to slip my pinky finger just under the clasp. I like the watch to be able to move around on my wrist a bit, without turning around to the underside of my wrist. especially in the summer around here, I can't stand for the watch back to be trapped in one spot... diver88

Mike I feel the boys have a point. I used to wear my Speedy too tight too. In my case though I didn't loosen the bracelet, rather, I went jogging instead and lost a few mm. ;D ;D Be well now pal and best to Linnie ZIN

I had a thread a while back on this very subject.
If I remember correctly, the majority went with a range of "one finger" to "just tight enough".
So, the pinky/index finger under the clasp, but the watch will not roll over the wrist, to tight enough that it doesn't move on the wrist at all, but does not make an impression of the backside of the bracelet on the wrist when removed.
I tend to run bracelets and deployant rubber at the loose end (pinky), and my current Planet Ocean is a bit tighter than what I consider "perfect", but the holes on a buckle strap cannot be moved around (just tight enough).
Does that help?

It does indeed help, and thank you all. Both watches now are in that "pinky finger" range and I'm comfortable with that slightly loose feel. My only problem now is re-arranging the links to center the clasp on the bottom of my wrist! I'll let the AD handle that next week. Mike

Hey Mike I have that problem too. My kind dealer did it However I am nowhere near them and nowhere near competent to do it by myself and certainly not willing to pay the local dealer $40 to do it. Yup 40 bucks!!! Think how many burgers that could buy or indeed apple pies and custard Linnie and you could get at The Three Tuns ;D ;D ;D Cheerio pal ZIN Not usually shaken nor stirred ;D ;D ;D

Ditto. A little loose is better for me, especially in the summer.
