Tragedy, I know, but not true. ;D
I'm trying to generate some interesting threads.
So if Omega discontinued the Seamaster, what other diver's watch would you wear in it's place?

I am not to sure they discountinued the model; but, just the standard movement. I beleive they are still selling the Co-axial movement Seamasters. Mr. Houston will know for sure. Please hold, your thread is important to us. ;D

So if Omega discontinued the Seamaster, what other diver's watch would you wear in it's place?Well Mr MacDaddy They won't unless the btm falls out of the Seamaster market. If the worse were to happen, they'd trim back of the number of lines but the Seamaster is a series which will continue ad infinitum even if the number of lines in it would/could be reduced. As the Seamaster remains Omega's diver range, you're assured of its' continued longevity. Happy? ;D ;D Be well amigo - hope you had a good Thankgiving ZIN Not usually shaken nor stirred ;D ;D ;D

I guess I didn't clarify myself.
IF Omega discontinued the line which watch would replace it?
And not another Seamaster!!!

I love my SMP, but I also love my Tudor Subs, my Seiko 6R15 Diver, my Grovana Rolex Homage and I'm trying - without success so far - to find a Clerc CX Scuba Limited Edition dive watch. And then there's the 50 Fathoms (one of my quasi grails)... So I, for one, wouldn't suffer from lack of choice. But I would mourn the passing of the SMP, which I use as a yardstick to judge the quality of all other watches. Most are far inferior to the SMP, but there are other timepieces that surpass it. My opinion, of course.

;D ;D Normally I would have said Rolex Submariner but of late some of those bling bling Breitlings look the goods. Other than that a good Divers Seiko with a few Yao mods, Aaron

You can also note that a love of Seamasters was used in creating this one.Although next one will be based on a black monster. Aaron

Hmm....IF Seamaster were discontinued........Rolex Sub would be nice. Diver's Seiko diver is nice. Or a Casio product would be nice as well.
