Ok, dumb question. My wife and I are new to Rolex watches. Her date just was not worn for about 48 hours, I wind it, giving about 30 180 degree turns at 7 pm. ( my wrist can't turn 360 degrees). At 2 am it stops, I wind it again about 30 half turns, it stops at 5:30 am.
No issue with the watch for 30 days, new from authz dealer. Please don't tell me I have a problem : (

could just be a glitch. So if in a few days you have a problem take it in!

Please don't tell me I have a problem : ( It does sound to me like you have a problem. What I advise is to actually take the watch off and give it a really full wind of at least 30 full turns. You may not be fully winding it as described above, but you should be getting more than 10 hrs. of running time - more than your seeing. After giving it a full wind, write down the time and set the watch down. Wait for it to stop again and compare the time the watch stoped with the start time. I'm not sure what the power reserve for a lady DJ is, but it should be in your manual. If you're seeing less than the normal power reserve, address the issue with your dealer. Good luck! John

That's funny, I always thought hand winding meant something else.
It explains why some WIS's have one arm substantially bigger than the other. ROTFLMFAO!! ;D
