Hi. I am new to this board and my apologies in advance if discussions of price are taboo here.
My AD has a new Z 16610 for 5175.
Is this appropriate?
Thanks

Hi ddcii, That price is standard MSRP, which is extremely common on the sub. Unless you have a very good relationship with an AD, discounts on the subs are very hard to find as the watch is so popular. Bottom line, they don't need to discount them to sell them.... On the flip side, I'd check around with the other dealers in your area. You won't pay any more, so no harm in checking around. Also, not sure how you're planning to pay, but if cash is an option (or check) then maybe see if they'll give you some off for that. Some will, some won't.... Good luck!!

Dan: Welcome to WTF!!!! So you want a sub.......... A few things to add what was said. Scott said call around. Do it!!!! Most dealers will not discount the Subs as they are always moving; however, some ADs *may* give 5%; but, you will have to look and possibly bring a bottle of wine or cognanc. ;D Seriously though, while they may not discount, some ADs will provide a watch winder (some use it, some don't.) or provide a 3 year warranty. The standard 2 year Rolex warranty, and then an extra 12 months on the ADs side. You can certainly post a thread and ask if anyone has dealt with an AD in your area (provide city and state) and ask them to PM you any information. You may get some good advice that way too. Do you have any other questions? Again, welcome!!!!

DDciii: I am not familiar with the area. Hopefully others can help you out and send you a PM with the information you are looking for. BTW, did you call Rolex to get a list of ADs?

Thanks again.
Yes I have called the dealer look-up number.
But I also value/wanted some first-hand experience from board members too.
