What a strange perdicament. I bought a new SS Dayton from an AD and can't get it to fit right. (I won the chance to buy it from a random drawing I entered - so I couldn't pass it up).
I'm between links, even with adjusting the finer settings within the clasp. Does anyone know if you can add a half-link or something similar to get it to size right? I get a watch band impression on my wrist after wearing it for only a half hour. It doesn't slide at all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I wan't this amazing watch to be comfortable!

u have a choice of 3 adjustments ....
1. remove/add oyster links 2. adjust length using minor adjustment positions (can be seen inside the clasp) 3. adjust using comfort link.....
i am sure something in between will fit

I have seen a couple of cases where the AD will remove (borrow) a link from a watch in stock to adjust the bracelet (increase size) on another watch for a new customer. The idea being the new customer will leave the store happy. This is scenario works provided the original link is replaced. In the case of a SS Daytona, maybe the AD borrowed a link to increase the size of a SS GMT II bracelet. Perhaps others can offer a link count on the Daytona as I do not have mine on. Good luck!

Thanks Guys. I tried the minor adjusments and adding and subtracting links to no avail. What is the comfort link? Sounds like I need it, or perhaps it's missing from my bracelet.

I have never seen that, especially considering jewelers consider the watch used if bracelet links have been removed/added, etc.

Not even my jeweler knew how that work, Ohlins thanks for the reference to the pictures. I will add a link back in and then use the comfort link to tweak it. Thanks again!
