Now some may call this lunacy, but we call it passion. ;D A couple of nights ago, just before midnight while I was watching late news on TV, I picked up my Ball Fireman to see for myself how the date would change. My other auto watches date change begins at about 11.30pm but competes almost an hour later. The Ball Fireman's date begins to to tilt downwards at 12am and at exactly 12.01am, the date changed completely. I thought this is another neat detail which ordinarily goes unnoticed.

ya, i noticed the difference btw my ball and tag heuer with regard to the data change. The change in my ball is practically instant whereas my tag has a period of tilting and then finally snapping to a new date...

Since I am rarely awake at the "strike of date change" I can only imagine that my Fireman (and all my other watches ) change at precisely midnight. At least they do when I'm resetting them after they've been sleeping. As if it isn't bad enough that I set all my watches by my Casio atomic watch-now I'll be setting my alarn for 11:58 so I can check the date change!!!
