After perusing the sales forums I've found that I like the look of seikos. Can anyone give me a good suggestion for a black diver in the 200ish range?

I'd go for the classic of them all... The SKX007 And they are cheaper than the price you're looking for Very good choice. Can't go wrong with that one. I would recommend also the Black Monster SKX779. I have the orange version and I love it. It has a great heft and it lights up like a torch.

I'm priced out of your market.
So I'll keep my trap shut.
Enjoy your hunt. All Seikos are wonderfully made.

Seiko Monster--can get one straight from Asia brand new w/o box for like $150 shipped off the big auction site. This is true, but there are risks with grey market watches. I am not even saying the risk is not worth taking, but members should know the truth. If your watch from ebay arrives fine but fails one month later, the seller, just like your watch, will not give you the time of day. Discount Watchstore (our sponsor) stands behind their products, and will beat any price from an authorized dealer!

It has been known to happen...
Even Toyota's and Honda's break down... once in a blue moon! ;D
