Like the Aviator so well I snagged another 24 hour Russian movement bearing watch. Someone pointed out to me that it is really made in Lithuania hence my description. Not a GMT, extra hand is slaved to the hour hand. Automatic but no quick set date. Knock your socks off superluminova. Screw in crown, 100M/330ft. Bracelet is nice but has very loose links. Comfortable but should be a little heavier for this watch IMHO. 32 jewels with blued parts. LE 1539/3000 Heh. Tank like . Overall nice fit and finish. Running about + 30 seconds a day in a quick check.

eddie, I think the crudeness is part of the allure. The 31 jewel/32 jewel thing was driving me crazy while I was waiting for delivery. The Vostok website states 31 jewlels also while the movement description says 32 ! Doh! Vostok 2426 (RU) Mechanical lever movement Precision automatic Diameter: 24 mm Movement height: 6,3 mm 32 jewels Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, additional central 24-hours hand, date calendar Shock protection Frequency: 19800 vph Daily rate from -10 to + 30 s/day Power reserve minimum: 31 h I saw pics of the watch stating both on the dial. I just gave up till mine arrived and there it was, 32. Im sure it doesnt make a bit of difference but Im glad to see Im not the only one who (is nuts enough to have ) noticed that. Was going to ask if anyone of the real experts here knew the story. Wonder if it was just a dial printing error?

Nice looking timepiece. My Vostok had decent fit and finish - but it's one flaw, a slightly bent second hand, made me nutty

Good luck with your new watch Max! Here is a clarification from an older post- The difference between Vostok (Boctok) and Vostok-Europe: Vostok vostok-inc.com and Vostok-Europe www.vostok-europe.com . These two watch brands are still being mixed up although these are two different watch brands. Vostok or Восток (Russian way) is a typical Russian watch brand produced in Chistopol (Russia/Tartarstan) at the Vostok factory and Vostok- Europe is a brand made by the Lithuanian company Koliz Vostok in cooperation with the Vostok factory.
