I have been thinking of snagging an Orient brand watch for quite awhile now.
Does anyone know what their top non chrono model is? Also how does the FF compare with Seiko. Is it exactly the same.
Best Regards,
Thomas Carey

Best Regards, Thomas Carey I am sure there are many who would disagree with me, but I think Seiko is just a tad better in the fit & finish dept. Orient has hundreds of models; are you including all lines made by the Orient Watch Co.? The best non-chrono is a Royal Orient and sells for over $3,000USD.

I know Orient makes a ton of quartz chronos. At present, I only know of one series of mechanical chronographs made by the Orient watch Co., and I think they are using a Seiko movement. Is there a Orient model with the Kinetic movement? I also am liking the idea of getting a watch with a power reserve.
Best Regards,

Of course I meant to ask is there an Orient model with the Seiko Kinetic movement. Best Regards, Thomas Carey I don't think so. I own a model with an older technology. Even after Wednesday at work it keeps running only for maxiumum four days – I am a music teacher and on Wednesdays I am conducting ensembles almost all day. So it should have enough moving and shaking. I like it anyway because of the little weight. Regards, Muttenstrudel
