Mey Muttley, You know you can send the Tag back to LVMH in NJ without the dealer, or his mark-up..... I've sent one back there directly and they'll give you the quote first, send it back if you don't want it done & if you do service & send back. Turnaround (for me) has been 2 weeks or less serviced).. And it's cheaper than some dealers. Thanks for the tip Scot, but it's a heck of a long way to send it to save some money - I'll just bite the bullet & keep it in the country cheers. Oh that right, forgot you're not in the US.. (ops). But there may be a comparable LVMH service center near you... Anyways, just an option to get around the watchmakers.

thanks Mr Orange, i checked for accuracy the last 5 days and she is at -1 second per day. i asked my watchmaker if he used one of those fancy electronic counters to regulate and he dosent. said an old watchmaker (80 years old) taught him how to regualte a watch, he told me what he did but i didn't understand , something about a fork and a spring being in the perfect center without touching, it must be a good way, everything i have is COSC numbers. diver88

One of my Coworkers recently showed me his Seiko automatic dive watch. It has been in his possession for over 20 years, and never been serviced. Somehow, it's just ticked away all these years without any problems. Aside from the occasional strap change, the Seiko Diver required zero maintenance for two decades and is still ticking strong.
Diver, I'm sure yours will make a miraculous recovery!
