Here is a Donald J. Trump "Signature Collection" watch I received for Christmas. I am less than impressed, but can't dump it because it was a gift. A mini-tour: This watch has a Japanese quartz movement with day, date and 24-hour GTM. All these functions are useless since the chrono eyes are so tiny you can't read them - just like on the dreaded Swiss Parts Invicta Multi-function watch. Speaking of Invicta, the Trump has the feeling a a Brizio Our Top Value. Despite the billionaire's name, it lacks any feel of quality. Perhaps the nicest thing about the watch is the Made-in-China DD bracelet. This is held together by screw pins. Nice - except that you can only remove a total of three links. I need to remove at least four. So the watch flops around on my wrist like a fish gasping for water. The MOP dial has no visible flaws. Everything is set properly. The real diamonds have nice brilliance. The gold tone hands are skeletonized. An interesting touch. The bezel does not rotate, the crown does not screw in. The chrono functions are not quick sets. Water resistant to 165 feet. Interesting stamping/engraving on the back. I hope my daughter didn't pay too much for the thing, which borders on being a POS. I think I will talk her into returning it. Yuck!

That's why I tell people NOT to buy me watches. Remember-"It's the thought that counts" Problem is that 'thought' doesn't always look good on the wrist. Look on the bright side-you could have gotten this!

I am sure that someone's grandmother would love a watch like that on their wrist. As far as the Trump goes, even the Alpha has a turning bezel and automatic movement!

I think you are correct Zin, even after that bottle of Zinfindel you polished off! I am confusing the markings on that bezel with a different kind of bezel. I'll still take the Alpha with automatic movement over the quartz dump..., umm, I mean Trump! Nothing gets by the Zinster!

Besides, the Trump watch has a bad habit of sounding off the alarm function anytime it gets near lady loving ladies that are 'photogenically challenged' .
Yup, that watch will potentially BLEEP OFF, anytime it gets near the L word ladies...not a good thing.
