Credit where Credit is due I would say Orient makes better faces in the Seventies than Seiko did. There are so many Styles that you can find for twenty Bucks they put seiko to shame....
Most times to get a realy funky face on a seiko you gotta pay the big money

Last week I recieved 2 new Orient's from a internet site shipping from Florida. These are $ 60-65 USD watches and I am blown away with the quality of the case and dial on both watches.
The only quirky thing common to both the dress watch and the diver is the rotor makes a real racket as it spins, not noticable on the wrist, but when you hold the watch it feels like Orient left some 5mm diameter ball bearings loose in the case!
I will post some pictures after my vacation.

I have two Seikos. 20th year of service watch from work. Wore it for years. The battery is dead right now though. A colleague of mine has the same watch from his 20th year of service. He just resurrected it, had it serviced and new battery. I've always liked Seiko watches. My most recent is a Seiko 5 automatic. It is in "regular rotation" gets worn now and then. It has a space on the winder too.
