As much as I hate to admit it, I've got a Seiko 5, a Citizen of the same caliber, and a couple of more watches with Miota (?) movements, and as the moderator of this forum I should probably have at least 1 pretty nice Japanese watch (not just the movement). I think I'm looking for a Pilot/Navigator style watch. how about some input, and no quartz watches either...Oh Oh Oh, No Monsters please...

The Seiko Coutura, Arctura and Sportura lines are very nice watches and have the kinetic movement so I guess they wouldn't be considered quartz. They cost anywhere from $100 to $600 so they aren't exactly cheap, and are well- made. I think you'd be happy to admit you own one of those. I love the Arctura I own, but heck, I'm proud of my Seiko 5 Superior too.

As well you should be, it is a nice watch... The Arctura and Sportura lines have'nt moved me much so far, but I need to look them all over for sure...

I've given them a look, but, as you say, they are in Rolex and Zenith territory, and if I'm going to spend that much or anywhere close, it would be Rolex or Zenith, so on with the hunt, still thinking about a Bill Yao tuned Seiko...

I've been checking them out too, some aren't too bad, I'm just so confused, I can't quit thinking about you opening for oh, never mind, and then the cops raiding the joint, bringing in CSI to find out why so many dead bodyies sitting at all the tables...
