I ordered and received this watch back in May. It's a Bill Yao modified Seiko. For those of you who might be interested, he is at www.mkiiwatches.com/. I always saw and read about "Yaoized" watches, but never had any idea what anybody meant. I do now I guess. This baby had some overhaul work for sure. I really like the way it turned out. It was originally a run of the mill SKX007. What do ya'll think?

Mamas,
If I remember right, I think all including shipping was $425. That included the dial, hands, aluminum chapter ring, oyster style Seiko bracelet and domed sapphire crystal. There was also a small charge to make the tip of the second hand red.
I know it sounds like alot for a Seiko diver, but this is not an ordinary Seiko diver. It's a tricked out Seiko diver. If it were a Honda Civic, it would have starred in that "Fast and Furious" movie.

Brian.. thanks..Still a good price though considering what similarly designed watches are selling for.. and the fact it has a saphire crystal is an added bonus.. i may be getting one myself.. going to sell one of my otherpieces and raise some funds and make the decision then. mamas

Hey choppersdad. Beautiful watch! I have a question for you. Do you buy a Seiko and send it to him or does he have them and modify them?

Mailman,
You can go to his website and see, but you can go both routes with him. If you have one already, you can send it to him, and he will make the mods. You can also just have him send the parts and you can do them yourself or send them to your watchmaker.
He also does mods on the Black Monster, as well as Ollech & Wajs divers. I've seen these mods done on a Invicta 9937, and it looked really nice. I am actually considering doing that next. ;D
