Your all time favorite Japanese watch

Eveone in on this on please, what is your all time favorite Japanese watch and why?

I guess I should have put this in with my post but I'll add it now, I think the Seiko 5 series is a bundle of watch for a few dollars, tough, accurate, no nonsense, in other words, very practical...

For me....Seiko SKX007 & SKX009.....best beater for the buck. I have a SKX009 and just bought a SKX007 from the bay...should have it next week.

I like the seiko 5's. they are a no nonesence watch trhat one can use in all circumstances, inexpensive and tough. The are also a great introduction to the wolrd of mechanical watches, and offer great bang for your buck, as our american members are fond of saying

well for me it would be my new G Shock fantastic watch and I don't like digi's this one made a beliver outa me

That's easy. The 6309-704X. Seiko got this cushion case monster right. The movement is very hardy and the case just sits on my wrist like it was born there. I like to custom fit Seiko Oyster bracelets to my 6309s as they only came with rubber dive straps originally. If I could only own one dive watch, this would be it. I think I'd give up my Omega SMP Bond before this 27 year old beauty although it would be very difficult.

As for my fav its a beater I bought 20 some odd yrs ago ,,, a casio model 320 ana digi diver ! Runs great I just ordered a new strap for it . From our sponsor watch prince ) 48 mm with the crown X 44.... Iam sure it needs the gaskets changed wonder what that would cost me ??
