Yeah very nice. Good addition to the forum. I don't own any Japanese watches right now but I always admired Seiko's design back in the 80's and early 90's. Some of the two-tone quartz chronos were really nice. Too bad I couldn't find any pics with a quick search. My friend Reto has tons of Seiko pictures in his PMWF sales section.
However, there was one huge archive on the Net somewhere which listed all Citizen & Seiko models. Anyone?
PS: I find it amazing how big following these Japanese brands have. There are tons of Seiko forums on the Net.

I agree that this is a great addition to the forum. I love my "Orange Monster," not only does it get a lot of wrist time, but it is my movie theater watch. No trouble telling the time with this watch. My only improvement wishes are being able to actually wind it with the crown, and a hacking movement. Overall though, a great watch for the cost, and their are plenty of reliable dealers for them on the net. When I was full time in the pawn business, as we carried new Seiko's, we used to be able to buy one a year at 40% off of cost for our own use. I used to order the most expensive one I liked, wear it a while, and then sell it for a nice profit. That, along with a few other perks, such as being able to build my collection at reasonable prices are among the few things I miss. I think this forum will be a lot of fun!

As I advance into this hobby, I search for Quality watches that are affordable to me, and have committed to spend some pretty serious bread (for me anyway) on a couple of very nice watches an Oris Artillier Complication and a lower end Zenith but this forum will give an avenue that all of us can afford to be active in... Sometimes the facination is in the purchase of something new, not necessarily expensive... Three cheers for this new Forum for the masses...

I agree, buying an expensive watch is great, but with watchcollecting as a habit buying a watch once or twice a year just doesnt cut it ;D So brands like seiko give us the chance to get quality for not very much $$$ Personally I am very greatful for japanese watches, otherwise I would be a lot poorer
