OK people; heres a good one; on the cockpit big date; there are 2 numbers that appear in the date window.. are there 2 dials underneath with the numbers, or one? reason I ask is that; there is a divider between the numbers on the face...

I don't believe it's 2 dials. The dual-wheel aprature is more complex than a standard dial aperture, and Breitling always calls that function out in the Chronolog. The Cockpit does not have a dual-dial function called out, as does the other large date, which does have the dual-wheel, the Blackbird. I'd have to see one in person to tell (on a dual wheel, the 10's digit won't change except from 9 to 0, so example when 23 becomes 24, only the 4 would change) but I don't think it does.. I think it's just a larger print dial with a seperator on the face...

Sorry, don't know much about the TH Links.. I never cared for the look of them, so haven't paid too much attention...
Also, on the rolled gold, many feel it's actually a better design than the 'solid' gold links on other brands. Also, don't let the phrases used confuse you. A Breitling rolled gold watch is far different from a typical rolled gold. Many brands that are rolled have a fine layer of gold, not a large amount more than plating actually.
But the Breitling is actually more like 2 links in one, one outer & one inner. I for one didn't like it until it was properly explained to me. When you look at the cross section, it's actually a fairly sizable piece of gold on top of a steel core (think of it as an outer & inner link). The purpose is to help the bracelet maintain it's shape longer. Gold, being a softer metal than steel, will stretch faster & easier than stainless steel. By putting a SS core inside the gold link, the link stays stronger, preventing the band from stretching as easily as an all gold link. You still have a comparable amount of gold in a Breilting gold bracelet link as a comprable sized all gold link of another mfr.
Also, this process is only used on the bracelets. The cases, pushers & bezels of gold are solid. None of those are rolled.
I hope that helps some...
