Now I do like that.
Any idea of price? It's not in the Oris catalogue I have.
I'm guessing it's a lot cheaper than the £2000 Maurice Lacroix skeleton that is on my wish list.
Cheers,
Rick.

Pic is from a press release, either from Oris or from Jorge Merino of TZ - here is a closer view of the guts: I love it. Haven't seen a price yet. Here's Oris' comments: "The New Oris Artelier Skeleton Engine Look Deeper into the World of Mechanics. For the first time Oris is launching a model with skeleton watch movement in its classic Artelier line. The movement as pulsating heart is clearly visible. This is the most impressive way of pre-senting the fascinating world of mechanics. The extra-large case opening permits an optimal view of the skeleton movement and the dial reduced to one ring – the finely skeletonised, rhodium-plated movement with bluish screws and Louis XIV decorative engraving, the silver patterned dial ring with nickel-plated indices. Combined with a dark-brown leather strap or a multi-part stainless-steel bracelet, this skeleton watch permits a clear but very subtle view of its performance. Its trans-parency is complete since the movement is also visible from the back: through the skeleton case back the red Oris rotor can be seen. Oris Artelier Skeleton Engine – join the inner cir-cle of the art of mechanical watch making. Artelier, Skelet Ø 40.00mm Ref. 734 7591 40 51 LS Skeleton mechanical automatic movement, rhodium-plated and engraved, display of hours, minutes, and seconds from the centre, silvered guilloche dial ring with applied polished indices, polished hands, multi-part stainless-steel case 316L, secured by eight screws, stainless-steel back with mineral glass, sapphire glass domed on both sides and spherically cut from the inside, water-resistant to three bar, dark-brown leather strap with stainless-steel folding clasp."

Thanks for the info Eddie,
That's sounds like fantastic value.
I'm guessing it'll be about £700 in the UK.
Rick.
