Hi everyone! I just joined the forum! Also, just bought my first ORIS about a week ago - an ORIS CHRONORIS! I absolutely love the watch!!! How do I post some pictures? Welcome to WTF! We've got a tutorial on posting pictures in the FAQ and Guidelines Forum: jholbrook.proboards33.com/index.cgi?board=faq&action=display&thread=1096473156Unfortunately, our Oris Forum is the lowest traffic forum here on WTF - we're actually considering combining it with our General Forum. You might want post your introductions on the General Forum too.

So does this Chrono show how many hours you've timed or is it basically only good for 30 minute increments?

It only goes up to to 30 minute increments. I don't think the original 70's versions even has the 30 minutes subdial.
Here's a question to all: I've heard that it's good to let the chrono hand keep running. Some say it's okay to keep it locked. What's better? I usually keep it locked. But my friend, who's a big-time vintage Seiko collector, let's all of his chronographs run.
Thanks.

Hmm...I have heard it's ok to use the Chrono, that is what they are made for... But they where not made for constant use, I have to search in my archives for this info. I have to get back on this one... Kind regards, Gerard

Gerard,
Thanks for your reply. Tell me what you find out.
Zin,
Thanks. I'm a little busy now. Once things slow down, I'll figure out how to post some pics.
Thanks, YLKATS
