Hey that TT1 is beautiful, everyone here seems to be getting one, I am also in the market.
Does anyone have or tried on the 44mm, I have never seen one in person and I was wondering if the 44mm is with or without the crown. How does the 44mm look on the wrist?
Any thoughts?

I've tried on both the 44mm and 38mm at an AD. I perfer the 44mm. It almost sounds to big but when on the wrist it looks great. The 38mm seemed a little small compared to the 44mm and wore more like a 36mm. I believe the measurment includes the crown but can't be sure of this. The AD would only offer a very small discount off the $1195 retail so look to the net there are some good ADs that offer great discounts.

Unless you have really small wrists go with the 44mm as it wears much more like a 42mm.

I believe the 44mm measurement is without the crown. I have a 6-1/4" wrist and ordered a 44mm without ever seeing it....still haven't seen it. Maybe another week or so.

Must be stuck in Customs or on back order Yep....backorder. A lot of the dealers (including our sponsor) don't have any black dial 44mm TT1 divers.

The case size at 44mm is without the crown. It is a suprisingly comfortable watch and does look as huge as say a 44mm XXL Date. This is due to the case profile and of course the diving bezel which creates the illusion that it is smaller. I have had customers with 6.5 inch wrists buy them. I dont have any wrist shots but I suspect that there other members that do.

Wow I just got the seiko BM, man that thing is an awesome watch, I was suprised to see how big it is, and its only 42mm.
Do any of you have the BM and the TT1, maybe you could give me a size comparision of the 2.
Hopefully they have them in stock next week at tourneu in vegas, I cant wait to slip one on my wrist and see how it feels.

I just got my Oris from Jim....you know, the blue one he had for sale. Anyway, I've got to say the 44mm size is awesome. I had to remove as many links as I could, but it fits my 6-1/4" wrist VERY well. It's a very comfortable watch and doesn't look like a wall clock on my small wrist. I've got a couple of SMPs and they are practically the same size as the TT1. Don't let the 44mm scare you. ;D
I'll post some comparison pics with the SMP soon.
