They must be having a serious supply/demand issue with the black bezel version. I'll just have to live vicariously through Jim until mine arrives. ;D Fortunately I have my new Bond to keep me company for the time being.

so how do you rate this watch compared to Omega? Mike as you know thats always hard to answer. First let me say I love Omega and own one myself very very good watches can't say enough good about Omega. Second Omegas quality and customer service is outstanding. Ok this is my first Oris and first impressions are WOW what a watch. Its very big but not over the top I bought the 44mm the 38mm seemed a little small in this model. The quality is on par with the big dogs for sure. So far the movement a ETA is gaining a steady +7/day very good for an unadjusted watch and non chronometer. The bracelet on this thing is about the best I've ever seen it really puts you know whos Oyster to shame (and yes guys I own a Rolex too so I'm not Rolex bashing just being honest). I'm very impressed so far and have found no negatives except the bracelet is difficult to size but once done it fits very well. Overall I give the Oris TT1 diver two BIG thumbs UP.

It took me a couple of tries at first did you look at the 38mm or 44mm?

I looked at the 44mm, and given that my wrist size is rather small it sat fairly aquwardly on my wrist. I really rate oris watches as great pieces for the price paid they felt like very solid watches.. and iagree, the bracelet was of incredible quality.. en par with my SD / omegas easily. mamas
