Okay, so we have a lot of watch photographers here and I want to offer some cool info to all my peeps. Here is a way to simulate stainless steel in Photoshop. Let's say you've shot that great photo, but you're clasp is scratched or you need a section of stainless to fill in somewhere else. Easy peasy. Open up a new document in photoshop. Step 1: Go to FILTER - NOISE - ADD NOISE and bring the amount to around 95% or so. You'll have a grainy colored background. Now click on the MONOCROMATIC check box and everything will become gray. STEP 2: Go to FILTER - BLUR - MOTION BLUR and set the distance to about 40 or however much is needed to give it a streaked look. AND THERE YOU HAVE IT. You can also add lighting effects to it to help light it properly. With some practice, you can get quite good at this. I hope I've been helpful with this and that someone can use this information. Nice tips MacDaddy! I can't imagine what watch you had in mind, posting in the Omega forum. ;D We do have a photography forum that may get the info to the people that'll use it. I adjust levels and airbrush the occassional dust/lint speck but that's about it. I can see how your tip could be usefull, though. Did I mention: very nice turorial? Thanks again!

I guess I thought it would be seen by more people that way. I'll post in the Photography section from now on.
