Hi Guys,
I bought one of these this week. I have slowly been working my way through the 147 page manual.
I wanted a compact camera (this is only 9cmx6cmx2.5cm) that I could take family and holiday snaps with. I also enjoy taking scenery shots when I'm out walking or cycling. I also wanted it to start up quickly because I have two young nieces who find it impossible to pose for a picture.
However, my primary use for the camera, now I'm a fully fledged WTFer, is to take decent watch pictures.
If you take a wander over to The Omega Forever Gallery thread you'll see what I have acheived so far. I hope to improve on these as I get used to the myriad of options given by the camera. I will also be posting on the Rolex, Oris, Breitling and General forums with pictures of my other timepieces. So keep an eye out.
I can highly recommend this camera although it isn't cheap for a compact. MRRP is £399 (about ($750). I managed to get almost 40% off this price though.
If anybody is interested in this model in any way then please feel free to ask. I would be happy to reply to a query here or in a PM.
Rick.

Rick I believe our American cousins are very fortunate to be able to get this for anything $323 and $450. EC rules are just so protectionist which makes no sense since there's hardly a camera industry in Europe worth talking about. Yes I've been examining your entries in the Omega Forever Gallery - very nice macro work See ya pal ZIN

Congrats Rick! I'll have to mosey over to the Omega forum and check out those macro shots.
