Hello all I just picked up this passion for watches and its awesome to see that photography is a big part of this interest. As a wedding photographer, I find the relationship between watches and photography a nature fit. Here is my newest Auto Here is my wedding photography website www.gandgweddings.comWe do destination weddings so if you know anyone getting married....... Thanx everyone for looking

Your work is VERY impressive! I'd be interested in hearing about your camera and equipment? I'm a self-tought photographer and I use Canon equipment - a member of Canon Professional Services in fact. I've done quite a bit of watch photography for publication, but I'm doing more and more event/sports photography too - car races, air races, regattas...that sort of thing. I've only done a couple weddings...boy that's a LOT of work! I see you like to make good use of blackground "blur" in both your watch and wedding photography. Very nice!

Thank you very much. Yup I'm self taught as well. I use all Canon. I have a 1D Mark 11N as my primary body. My backup/vacation body is a Canon 30D. My lenses include the 16-35 f2.8 L, 24-105 f4 L, 70-200 f2.8 IS L, 35 f1.4 L (prime), and 85 f1.2 L (prime). The primes are used usually for low light and creative work. I love the bokeh (background blur) of the 85L f1.2; that is my primary portrait lense. I also have two 580 EX flashes for dual flash work. The 24-105 was used for these watch pics. I may have to get 100mm macro for my watch pics I used to shoot sports as well. I shot a bit for Stanford Athletics. Here are some images: www.gandg.smugmug.com/SportsYeah weddings are really tough. Its all about anticipation and pretty much running the show. The bride looks to you to lead the day. But once the wedding portraits are done, the rest of the day is easy.

@ John. Some new pics in there I haven't seen. Don't think I've seen the yacht & thunderbird shots yet. Any more from that? great shots as always by the way... @ Trijicon. Go Cards!! As someone who grew up in Palo Alto, I'm a huge Cardinals fan (mostly football), but I'll watch any Stanford sport.. Glad to see you're catching the action shots there!!

Do a search for Panerai or Breitling on the General or Community Forum going back to July and you should find my original posts with all the photos from each event.
