following these plans, substituting white garbage bags for the bed sheet. Here's my first watch photo using that set up: I lit it with two desk lamps with daylight temperature bulbs on either side and a reflector card up front to fill in the shadows. I had to do some minor touch up in the GIMP. The shots, untouched, looked a tad underexposed. How'd I do? (Other than the hands not being at 10:10?) -- Carlos

Wow! and Wow! I really appreciate that you showed the before & after. The original is a decent shot, then BANG!! You are quite the GIMP artist! I can't wait to see more shots

That looks pretty nice.....very sharp. My only suggestion would be to crop the photo...there's too much unused "white space" around the watch. If you crop the photo and get in nice and tight on the watch, it will look better provided you have the pixels in the original to spare.

I like the pic. I even like the hands being different! Good job. Tell me more about how you touched up the photo. I need that skill. Thanks.
