All Right! It's time to pick the first Photo Forum Contest Challenge.
Challenge # 1:
Catalog Shots. Straight ahead watch pictures showing good detail without artistic angles, extreme closeups or props. Imagine it's your job to sell the watch that you are shooting and you want the customer to know exactly what that watch looks like. Things like hands at ten and two, focus and lighting should be paramount.
Challenge # 2:
Artistic Shots. Let your imaginations run wild here! Anything goes, props, PhotoShop, odd angles, color, black and white you name it. You are the artist and the computer screen is your canvas.
Challenge # 3:
Black and white only. That's it, no restrictions except for absolutely no color allowed.
Challenge # 4:
Wrist Shots. Get out those little scissors!
Challenge # 5:
Lume Shots. Glow in the dark fun for everyone.
Challenge # 6:
Macro Shots. Extreme close-ups only. Dials, hands, movements etc., the more detail the better.
These six challenges will eventually all be covered, your job now is to vote for the first challenge.
Voting for the challenge topic will be open until the end of this month. Photo submissions will commence on the 1st of June and will be open until the 22nd, voting for photos will start the 23rd and will end on the 30th.
There will be a prize for this latest contest and hopefully for future contests as well. The winner will receive the Spring/Summer 2005 issue of CHRONOS magazine. If you haven't seen CHRONOS it is one slick magazine with some of the finest watch photos you will ever see. So let us know with your votes what will be the first "Photo Forum Contest Challenge"
