I may have gotten the colour problem sorted out on my Canon by setting a custom white balance. These are quick shots to test it out so forgive the set up please....whatcha think? Cheers,

That looks great! I find the custom white balance function to be the preferred way of setting the white balance when I work in the studio. It's less convenient in the field, but can still be done if you carry a very white piece of paper or cardboard (or pro card).

Just followed the directions in the manual. I took a pic of a white piece of paper under my photo lights, like I would a watch, and used those settings. Seem logical, lol. I really don't know what I'm doing on any of this stuff...just stumbling along Cheers,

Right, Bruce . . .
We should all produce photos like yours.
Great job; and, keep passing on your tips!

I think that most of the Digital SLR's have a "custom white balance" setting. You can select "custom", then point to a white source (while in the environment that you will be taking the photo). After you press the shutter half way it should lock the white balance.
Then you can take the picture and the balance should be perfect.
I believe you can even save some of the white balance settings.
Dave.
