Brand spanking new to this forum. New owner of a black dial Grand Diver, which rocks by the way, but had a question for you all. Does Invicta sell watch bands? While I really like the look of the SS band, I also want to get a rubber diver band so I can a) reduce the heft of the watch, and b) wear it every day without scratching up the SS band. I figure I can pick up a diver band at a watch store or dive store, but wanted to know if Invicta had a line out there specific to their watches.
Regardless, this watch is great value for the money. 2 weeks, and the automatic hasn't missed a beat. Can't tell you if it's seconds on, but been sinking it to my computer clock and it is spot on....hour and minutes.
One thing of note, I wanted a solid black face, not MOP, and that's what I got (bought the watch off Amazon and the seller told me prior to the purchase that it wasn't MOP)...but for some reason the Invicta website states that this watch has a MOP face. Too many designes for them to keep them all straight?
Thank for any help on the watch band question...

WELCOME Mr Tstew, glad to have you here, now to your strap question, not being an Invicta expert I seem to remember seeing some Invicta branded straps at one of our sponsors Discount Watch, you'll find an ad on the main forum page that will take you to them. not sure if they will have exactly what you're looking for but you might give them a look. I'm sure someone will be along to give additional info before long, good luck and have fun here... diver88 ;D

Thanks, D-88! I'll check them out and if they don't have the dive band I'm looking for, hopefully I'll get more responses to this post. Again, thanks. p.s. I finally figure out what the whole 'Sunday Run' was about...prior to that I thought you were all a bunch of running fanatics.

tstew, go to www.invictawatch.com. Wait for the Invicta truck animation at the bottom of the screen and click on it. That will take you to the Sunday Run page with a complete explanation of the promotion. Regarding a rubber strap for your Grand Diver, Invicta may sell a rubber strap replacement but I seem to recall that their rubber straps fit the regular Pro Diver. I dunno if they have one for the Grand Diver. You may have better luck by visiting the website of another of our sponsors, The Watch Prince.
