I spent my leaf man money on an Invicta Tuesday and it should be here Monday ;D Also, I was lazy and did not take the time to get them up either so the yard is full still But on the up side, I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night!

My condo fee pays for that, so I have more time to be a watch geek.

About half done. I do it in 45 minute "sessions" and have been out about 5 times in the past week. Luckily I can drag them into the woods in the back of the house. If I had to bag 'em all I'd never get done.

All our huge Maples just dropped their leaves this weekend. The leaves are wet and heavy. I spent 2 hours today, but have lots to do.

No trees on my estate. Our servants chopped them all down just so we could watch them die. ;D

This raking the leaves talk is soon followed by shoveling the snow talk. Which is why eddie and I live in florida!

Great opportunity for a pun, but I shall resist.
I have a funny story about leaves. We have a large yard with lots of trees in the back. For many years, I picked up the leaves. . . with the help of my two sons. Alas, both kids live elsewhere. Then one year after knee surgery, I hired these two brothers two houses away to do the grass and leaves. They worked for me for several years, each succeeding year their quality of service got worse. Three years ago, I fired them. End of story? Not quite.
The past three years, as the leaves fell, in the mornings, they were gone. Where did they go? Out of anger for being fired, the younger of the two brothers would come in the evening, with a flashlight and clean my leaves. . . just to show me. I don't pay him but he HAS to do this. So, I let him.
