After a long absence from my wrist, me and my "legend" became reacquainted on Sunday. It truly is love all over again. This is the watch that brought me into collecting - and here to WTF and the Original Invicta Forum. It's a little beat up by my standards, but no matter. It works and keeps time just as good as when I first got it. It's nice to have the same feeling now as I did the day the cheese box first arrived!

That is one of the joys of wearing a watch that you haven't given wrist time to in awhile. It is almost like getting a new watch.
Recently, as I rotate wearing of my watches, I have been wearing them for days at a time rather than changing every day. As a change in habit, it is a nice departure to spend additional time with "old friends." I can see myself reducing my collection to a number fewer than the present collection and wearing each longer and more frequently.

I rotate my watch daily. Since it could be a month before I wear a particular watch again, it is always fresh and fun when I put it on. But I do have favorites that I wear out of rotation.

I, too, am thinking it's time to pare some of my timepieces, and ironically it's the Swiss brands. I'm really loving ALL my Invictas right now.

Well Agent Orange or Rusty if you are really looking to get rid of some watches I would be glad to assist you in that. Just let me know & I will take some off of your hands (no pun intended) so that you can better get reacquainted with your other watches. ;D Gary

So is there much selling back and fourth of Invictas between WTF members? If so I would like to see what other members have up for sale!

The 43mm Pro Diver does that to me. I wear it more often than I ever thought I would. I do need to get that wonderful Invicta blue dial someday though. The 3295 is the closest I have at present and it is one of my favorites.

Hi, Now I have an automatic question for you all. I just received my new 3824. I noticed that the second hand was not moving so I wound the watch about 35 times and the second hand started up. Now I thought with the watch being in transit the watch would be running because of the movement but it was at a dead stand still. I also noticed that the rotor does not spin around but I’m not sure if it was spinning before I wound the watch, is this because it doesn’t need anymore winding or should the rotor spin all of the time? I guess what I am asking is should the rotor only spin when the watch needs winding? I am somewhat concerned about this, can someone help me out?
