Hi. I ordered an Invicta 9307 from fractionprice.com and received a 9307A. I couldn't find any info on the 9307A and was hoping someone here would know. Is the "A" a new revision?
The only difference, as far as I can tell is the "A" has a black wing logo vs red on the 9307 (i liked the red), and says "Swiss Movement" on the bottom of the dial instead of "Swiss" under the Invicta logo. The "A" also has the wing logo on the second hand (which I like).
It's a sweet watch and I like it, although I was a little disappointed to not see the red wings. Thanks.

I believe that Invicta used to put the red wing logo only on their quartz models....

As I recall, the 9307 is the quartz movement version of the 8926.
Recent events have shown that Invicta is making modifications to its dials regarding placment of origin (most likely just movment origin) and other things. I've noticed some of the new 9937RI dials have been changed to move the word "Swiss" from under the logo to below the 6:00 marker.
I, too, lament the loss of the red-winged logo. I always thought it looked neat - it certainly was different. And, as John indicated, it was used exclusively on quartz models.
If you can, Michael, post a photo of the watch so we can compare - and by all means, enjoy your new Invicta!

This is really a big issue for me. It's very difficult to know what you will get from a dealer when Invicta keeps the model numbers the same.
For example, the 9762 has 3 or 4 versions:
1. Red "Speedway" with flat face and yellow gold. 2. Red "Speedway" with flat face and Rose gold. 3. Black "Speedway" with embossed face and date and yellow gold plate.
There may be another, though I can't point it out.
I think Invicta needs to be more consistent, because it's maddening to order something and end up with 'something else'.
I suggest that they make a change to the entire number when they make a modification. Rather than putting an "A" (which they don't always bother to do anyway), they should bump the number. This will also stop the sellers from hawking unknown wares.
Dave.
