S Hi Stephen, Eyal said he was going to send it to me, but I haven't received. I don't know if he's going to or not... Have you seen Oompa's review of the watch? I think from a consumer perspective, the biggest problem with the price tag is depreciation. I think from a quality standpoint, they've put together a nice watch. But I'm not sure the resale will be there. I'd be more apt to spend $1500.00 - 2000.00 on a Tudor chronograph that I would have less risk with come resale time.

I know just outa common sense for me to justify a 2K invicta the resale would have to be as good as many others like Omega and many more ! I don't mind tossen 2 3 even 500 bucks at a nice watch that gives me pleasure to wear abd I knwo I will lose money on it if I sell it but 2 K is another thing ..
on another note any word on the min repeater from Invicta I heard here on a post there is one in the works ..

i agree invicta has not had great success with there high end models! They need to slow down a little and keep pricing targeted more for now to under 1K!

Well, there's the other side of the arguement that says doing more of the same isn't going to help they move up market. After all, the more >$1000.00 watches they introduce, the more people will accept it as being in the "acceptable" Invicta range. Build a good product, and people will pay the asking price. The challenge, I think, is for Invicta to build the right product.

I agree with you there! To be honest they sell alot of watches and we are a small fraction of there market! If i did not know about Omega and Oris for example three years ago i would have paid about anything for the Invicta line! I have only had one watch go bad and Mark B replaced it with no hassle!
I love the Saphire Ghost but the $$$ keep me on the edge of do i or don't I !

But like most I would just buy another Omega plus I had my first Omega it never missed a beat for 22 yrs with normal maint to bad it got stolen ....I wore that watch 24 / 7 for 22 yrs if any of the Invictas come close I will be thrilled I didn't collect watch's back then it was my only watch now I take better care of them wear a lot a diffrent ones great hooby
