hi, I recently got a new 8926 (reissued version of the original coin bezel). However, I noticed that my Invicta logo is slightly tilted to the right (about 5 to 10 degrees). I was told by the seller that all 8926s are like that. Could someone please confirm this?

WT,
I too recently received my 8926RI and mine (the dial) is perfect, though the cyclops was off-center. I called and my dealer is sending me a new watch, no questions asked.
Contact the dealer and exchange it. He should not have any problems doing that for you. If not, let the forum know who it is, so that we can find a solution to help you.
Cheers, Kevin

WT,
My cyclops is similar to the second picture you have there....not quite as extreme but close, the angle the picture was taken I know is for the logo, but that cyclops looks familure... Just a side note.

Welcome to the forum!
No, the logo isn't supposed to be crooked - I'm surprised your dealer would try and tell you that it's supposed to be that way.

I don't know any other way to say this, your dealer is a liar! And any credible dealer would have checked the watch for flaws when it came into inventory.
My reissue 8926 is, as far as I can ascertain, flawless, and I am one of Eyal Lalo's biggest critics. Additionally, I have 3 watches all sporting the Miyota 8215, it is an extremely accurate movement. None of the 3 are off more than +6 seconds per day.

Hmmmm.....John, Pat, any ideas??? Kevin As I've said before - if your watch doesn't satisfy you completely - send it back! Every legitimate company in business warrants it products - including Invicta. Every legitimate seller should back up its sales. Send the watch back, and get another seller - in fact check out our sponsors. They are honorable businessmen and will take care of you - and your watches.

the seller can't accept a refund/replacement since the protective plastic has been removed. is my logo problem easily fixed at any watch repair shop? wilbert Without actually seeing the watch, I can only guess - and that guess is probably not. If the logo is truly off kilter, and your seller is uncooperative - I would consider sending the watch to Invicta to have them replace/repair the problem under their warranty. I know this is an aggravation, however, the problem was created by your seller who failed to take care of you before he sent you the watch. Please let us know who the seller is and the details, so we can warn other members about possible future problems dealing with him. Sorry for the problems. Hopefully, we can get them fixed so you can enjoy your new Invicta.

You can and should deal directly with Invicta on this problem, as Pat suggested. I'd probably make one more attempt to make this dealer take care of the problem he created by not inspecting the watch prior to sending it out. If unsuccessful, I'd be prone to reversing the credit card charges, and mailing the watch back to him.

Hey John, actually, tom palmer also has this policy on his website. once plastic is removed no refunds/exchanges. you must inspect before you remove any plastic or you wear the watch. his site also states that if you find a problem after removing plastic you'd have to go straight to invicta, not him. my watch is perfect except for the fact that its +25 seconds per day! no way i could have known until after i remove plastic and wear watch. this is something that invicta should fix under warranty correct??? but i'd have to pay for shipping both ways so its probably cheaper to pay a repair place locally to regulate.

JCX, I would probably opt to have the watch regulated locally and pay for it. The charge shouldn't be too great, and you will go a long way toward establishing a good relationship with a local watchmaker - which will be invaluable in the future if you keep acquiring automatic watches.
