I purchased whatI think is an 8926 with the new wavy bezel...It is the stainless steel with the black face and bezel....It was purchased fromShop NBC, however I cannot find any information on why this one has the grooved face, while others I see that are similar have the smooth face. This watch has the silver wings, and logo second hand.

I believe you have a 2247. I understand it has the same movement and features of the 8926. I also purchased one and have since returned it. I just could not get past the "embossed" design on the dial. It's still a great watch IMO.

I saw the 2247 online and its not the same....The one I have has the ridges on the black face and the wing on the second hand.

Is it identical to the 2247 pictures you saw, with the exception of the winged logo second hand? Invicta is now starting to put this second hand on all the Pro Diver models. John |

It is identical except for the grooved face.

You are truly an expert...I just located a 2247 on the Internet and the new ones certainly do have the grooved faces exactly like the one I purchased from Jim Skelton on Shop NBC. Thanks again.
