Here's a shot of the dial where you can see the dial changes from the original - the second hand has the subtle wing logo, and instead of "Swiss" at the bottom of the dial, the 9937 re-issue dial now says "Swiss Movement.": Here's a picture of the display back on the watch, with the ETA 2824 visable. The re-issued 9937 has a nicely decorated rotor, while the original issue model had none.: The biggest improvement to my eye is the larger crown on the re-issue 9937 - it makes the watch look much more Rolex-like. Here's a picture next to my Sea-Dweller: Here's a close up of the crowns of the two watches - they're almost identical in size now: It's great having an Invicta Pro Diver back in my stable again! Look for the full review with the comparison of this re-issue 9937 to the original issue model! John

The only issue I have is with the wings on the second hand! I feel they take away from the overall style of the watch! They don't seem to fit in. Looks more like an afterthought. Maybe they did this not to upset Rolex again??? If that was the true issue on the first round of 9937's being changed. Cheers, JD

Cheers, JD Hi JD, I have no actual knowledge of why Invicta made the initial bezel change, I've always thought that Rolex probably had something to do with the decision. At first I didn't think I'd like the second hand logo, but now I think it's pretty neat. John

Nice watch and Unbelievable pics John !! I hope you eventually post a review on how you take these incredible pics. I would love to know what camera, lenses, light setup, etc. you use. A JBHII picture taking tutorial post, yeah thats it . Seriously, I continue to be in awe of your pics and I am sure many of us could use some pointers.

Actually, I'm considering writing a book on this topic, because I believe more than enough material that I can share from the 3 yrs. of doing watch photography (and still learning!). The short answer is that I'm using a Canon 20D, with a Canon 100mm macro lens, and a light box/studio of my own design that employes about 1000 watts worth of combined halogen and standard light. Looks great!, The second hand will take a bit of getting used to. I know what the movement is capable of from the 9939 I have. I like it. I ordered one tonight.
