John, congratulations on your new forum. Unknown to you, like many of us, I purchased my first invictas based on your reviews of the 8926 and 9937 about a year ago. To give you some backround about me, I have always loved watches. I purchased a Tag Huer S-link in 1993, and then bought my dream watch in 1995, a Rolex blue two-tone submariner. I felt that I had my daily beater (Tag), and my Rolex, and therefore could not justify/afford buying additional watches I liked (i.e. Omega, Breitling, etc.) After many years of wearing just those two watches, I had become bored and decided to buy an inexpensive beater watch. Thanks to the internet, I began doing my research last year and came across your reviews. That was the beginning of an addiction to watches again. I have since purchased 15 Invictas, Seiko BM/OM, Orient yellow beast, and most recently the Citizen Nighthawk and Ecozilla. All of these watches are $300 or less, which makes them somewhat disposable, since they are less than the service costs for my Rolex. Well thats my obsession story in a nut shell, and I probably owe that all to you and your reviews !! Anyway, I will be stopping by on a regular basis..........for therapy of course . Congratulations, again.

I look forward to your continued partcipation here...forturnately, we have several different brand forums depending on your mood, as well as a general forum when you want to just talk watches in general. I think you'll like it here! I would (and know others would too) love to see some pictures of your collection! Best, John
