Just don't drop it on your foot. I like the watch but it's so big I would prefer it as a belt bucket.

Yikes!!!! I just got that watch from my wife for Christmas. As well as a Ocean Ghost II and a Baume & Mercier Hampton (which I returned). I like the Russian Diver. Of course, I am new to watch collecting. I received a automatic Lupah earlier this year and haven't been able to stop. I just decided to look for some information on some Invictas and stumbled onto your site from another forum. There sure is alot of negativity about this brand. Not that you were being negative. I recognize that you were kidding. I have been quite happy with what I have. But, maybe I'm horologically challenged. Am wondering if I should not purchase Invicta in the future. What am I missing? Is Oris that much better or any other company for that matter ($ to $)? In my opinion my automatic Lupah was alot better looking dial wise and case wise than the B & M I got. The B&M was almost 3 times the amount of $'s. I didn't think it was worth it. Maybe I just haven't realized the craftsmenship in some of these other brands that people are touting over Invicta.

Greetings & welcome to the Original Invicta Forum! I'm not exactly sure if you were refering to _me_ when you say "I recognize you were kidding." But I'll take a stab at answering your questions. The forums here at WTF are "by fans, for fans." Therefore, one of our core values is to maintain a positive atmosphere where fans of a brand like Invicta can feel comfortable in discussing their passion. While we welcome balanced discussion, we will strive to maintain a positive tone at all times. We recognize that Invicta is a young company with a young CEO, and has growing pains. Issues with quality control and the integrity of communication from Invicta have and continue to be a problem. Still, they make many watches which are an excellent value. Do your research, buy from good dealer, and you'll likely be pleased with your purchase. Hope this helps!
