mgiraz, YES! Another person with a Ventura here. And an ORIGINAL Electric to boot! Beautiful! I only wished I could own an original Ventura Electric. Have you gone to www.rondeau.net ? I've got both of his books autographed. He's really a nice gent and is THE MAN for Hamilton restoration. Check it out.

MacDaddy...I don't have any of his books , but he did work on my watch (my watchmaker sent it to him). I hear he is the only guy that can work on the Hamilton electrics am I correct? Thanks for the internet address, very interesting site. I am going to have to get his books...as you can see, I really like Hamilton's, old and new.

Don't own one yet, but a Jazzmaster is on my acquisition list for 2008.

This Hamilton "Turner" dates from the mid- to late 1940's and belonged to my grandfather. He was a wood pattern maker by trade and made the stand for it you see in the photo. This watch has great sentimental value and as I was named after him the initials on the stand are also my own. It's also a neat watch and of a style of seemingly days gone by. So... I decided that I want to wear it so it is currently out being restored. I can't wait to get it back so I can put it into the rotation. -Ben

Thank you one and all! Nice watches - and a great education.
