Wow.. What a question... Well, if you're talking sport style grails, it's probably the Meteorite Daytona or Breguet Marine (See Dan's picture). Here's the georgeous Meteorite Daytona. Photo credit worktolive For a dress watch, the white gold Breguet Heritage or the IWC DaVinci Breguet Heritage Photo credit Breguet IWC DaVinci Photo credit IWC For an all round watch, the IWC Grand Complication in Platinum Photo credit IWC Decisions, decisions..... Yea - deciding which one to get. That's what's keeping me from buying them. Sure....

These would be my unattainable Grails Patek Philippe--Annual Calender,Gerald Genta --The Octo Tourbillon, Arena Chrono Quattro Retro, Franck Muller--Repeater Perpetual Calender Tourbillon, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon with Chronograph and this list could go on and on.These watches I will never get to try on my wrist. The closest I would get to see them is under glass. Now these also are Grails yet not in the same league and can be obtainable slowly Zenith-- Defy Extreme, Defy Classic, Omega --Rattrapante, Co Axial Chronograph, Breitling-- Evolution,Blackbird,B2 To get any of the obtainable ones all we have to do is stop buying 3 or 4 watches in a year.Instead buy one of these every 1 to 2 years. Sorry no picks on these awesome time pieces.

Gee, casey that would be nice... But for me, for example, I bought my "great white" SMP in 2001, (Pre-loved) and recently bought the PO (also pre-loved), so that's seven years without a major purchase... I did manage to squeeze in a Vostok Europe about a year ago however. By the way, I'm still eaing Ramen noodles....

Do you have any idea how much sodium is in those packets of Ramen noodle soups? ;D

yes, the sodium is high, but I usually eat two packs of noodles with one pack of "salt" flavoring... ;D
It's not that bad, but I find it hard to save up for watches. With global travel, photography (ever price a lens lately? HOLY CRAP I spend a lot on camera gear- like two to three SS sub's worth EASILY) and the aforementioned Ramen noodles (case pricing is much better by the way)...
Not complaining (well, yes I am), but if I wasn't so diverse in my life I'd have a rather envious collection by now...
The PO was partially sponsored by my photography- instead of a lens, I got the PO... Now I have to save for the lens!
