Guys, Is it true that Omega is going to stop making the full size Seamaster 2220.80.00? I was looking at a Speedmaster at my local AD when heard this info here in Ohio. Please tell me this is not so. I have one now, but my concern is for repalcement parts, if heaven forbid, an accident should be fall my beauty! 007

Not possible my friend. This is Omega's mainstay in the 300M SMP line and given the connection with the other 007, it's a dead cert for longevity. Alright pal Enjoy your weekend ZIN Not usually shaken nor stirred ;D ;D ;D

The modern SMP's (c 1120) have probably been one of Omega's best sellers over the last decade and it's newer co-ax version seems to be just as popular. So I think parts will be around for an awful long time.

Thank the heavens that this rumor was false! I would say that Omega would be shooting themselves in the foot with this removal. 007
