I agree with GJ, the Omega mesh is very comfortable and not a hair puller. Although I like the 1610/930 that came on my 2255.80, the mesh has become the bracelet of choice for my "electric blue": Fr. John+

The 2$ bill was a last minue add-on; I only had the 10CHF note handy... I usually have GBP, CAD and CHF bills all the time, but the cubbord was bare!
Even better, she had the old version of the 2$ bill as well... I haven't seen one of those for close to 20 years!
The pistol is 9mm; the ammunition gives it away...

When I saw the initial pictures of the GMT as I was scrolling down I wondered if they might have something to do with you Mr Wilson. The black GMT shots are brilliant and I see you bought an unusually large Bond 300M Diver ;D ;D ;D Thanks for the pictures and be well pal ZIN Not usually shaken nor stirred ;D ;D ;D

On the golf course: Is playing golf with an automatic movement a good idea? I remember reading an article on the strain that "impacts" such as golf place upon the rotor and other delicate parts. I wish I could find the article as it compared a drive in golf to the watch being dropped from fairly high onto a hard surface.

Mr 13oots2, i have heard many disscusions about that very subject. My feelings are that the watch was meant to be enjoyed and worn. some of the things that have happened to my divers whilst diving are surely equivalent to a drive on the golf course, maybe. I'v also been known to wear one while skeet and trap shooting with a 12ga shotgun, that probably is not smart and if I think ahead of time I would trade it out for a quartz, but I've done it. we just need to be as careful as our sensitivities allow I suppose. final word, IMHO I wouldn't give it a second thought, life's short.. enjoy.... but thats me.. diver88

I agree with Terry, these watches are made to endure lots of hard conditions. Going in space, diving way below anybody would want to go. I don't think golf is the worst that can be done to our watches. Of they are tough but also precision instruments, so we need to love them.
Wear your watch and don't worry too much about them, life is made to be enjoyed.
Have a good evening
