Well it's obviously too early to be speculating anything of course. Under Portuguese Law, naming a person as an "arguida" allows that person an opportunity to retain certain rights which would not have been afforded them were they questioned as an ordinary witness. I see it as a legal process protecting everyones' rights if for instance the detectives get it wrong. Then Kate McCann's rights will not have been violated assuming her attorney has counseled her well through this. How's the conundrum coming along my friend? Be well now ZIN

Oh, I wasn't concluding anything from this. Just when you hope something positive will come out of this, news like this makes me sigh in disbelief.
