What is the size of the Milgauss? Looks to be the size of the Explorer? Has anybody seen the clasp? I like the look of the watch - Just wondering what exactly I may have signed up for. Thanks in advance

40mm case, same clasp as the new Datejust, Air-King etc, very nice watch indeed. Do you have the Anniversary model on order jmh? If so, congrats in advance! :-)

10-4 on the anniversary model...
no concrete date yet...just that they are due in soon...I don't mind the look of the white face either - but I love the green crystal
Even more excited about the fact that it is 40MM!
Has anyone here seen/or aquired any of the Milgauss watches?

I don't think anyone here has a Milgauss - you may be one of the first.

I slipped one on my wrist in my AD's today, not the anniversary unfortunately, beautiful watch, looks bigger than its' 40mm, i put that down to the black dial with no bezel, i mean alongside my Sub (also 40mm) it just looked somehow bigger. Black being a reducing colour i just think that Subs and SD's don't look all that big, even on my skinny wrists! The clasp is going to scratch-up a treat with its' large polished centre area, i don't mind that personally, it's all good honest wear and tear, and adds to the character of the watch. I would have to have the black dial not the white, again just a personal thing, anyway i think the anniversary only comes with the black dial, but i could be wrong. Be sure to post lots of pics when you get it jmh! :-)

Paul: What country / state do you reside in?
The ADs in my area do not have them yet.

MikeS: I heard anywhere from DEC to Q1 next year. Nothing in the stores yet. I am surprised. I thought they would have tried to get them in for Black Friday.

I'm thinking more and more about getting myself on the waiting list at my AD for the Anniversary one, a bit of an odd one since i hadn't really thought about one. My tastes must be changing as i'm getting older! :-)

Swiss Watch Event at one of the local dealers tomorrow.. I'll see if they have one... Maybe even try to get a few pics.. The store manager called me to tell me they will have the 4 Cellini Price models in (I've been wanting to see them, thought I doubt I'll be tempted) and he told me he may (may being the word here) have a new white SS Daytona for the show. Supposed to have the YM II in for it also..

pauleypaul - I'm with you I am only considering the anniversary - once again - the green just gets me - can't wait to see it in person or some good pics
Scott D - for some reason I have a weakness for the Prince Cellini models as well - my AD had all 4 on my last visit - very stealth, undercover, and classic.

My AD said his rep has said nothing to them about the green being limited production. Were are you guys reading this?

I too have no recollection of reference to the green-crystal being limited, i think because it's the anniversary edition and a little different, the demand will be higher that's all. I mean, my AD has the 'ordinary' black-dial in the window, but a waiting list of about half a dozen for the green crystal.

I don't think it's limited either. It is a bit more expensive ($300) but that's probably due to the fact that crystal is only used on this model, so they can't spread the manufacturing costs around.
Heck, even the anniversary editions aren't limited. The Sub LV 50th is still in stores and we're closer to 60 years on the sub than 50 now....
BTW, was at a show today & the rep said the green is very faint. Imaging how most AR coating on watches gives a blue hue - he said it was kinda like that, only green. A tiny bit more pronounced, but you have to look for it to see the green....
