Of all my Ball watches, this is the only watch whose caseback is a mystery to me. Thought maybe someone here could enlighten me? Thanks in advance!

I know! I know! Pick me!! OOoooo! It's a deep sea submarine. Looks kinda like the Bathyscaphe Trieste which was the first manned vessel to go deepest part of Mariana Trench (carrying a Rolex on it's hull apparently). But that one looks more modern... more like the Alvin (out of Wood's Hole, MA known for discovering wreck of the RMS Titanic)

I may get the Trainmaster Cleveland Express for Christmas. I plan to see the AD soon and see how it looks compared to ohters. Just disappointed at the ETA movement used though.

Actually guys, it is not the Trieste which is found on other Ball models. The Trieste looked very different than what is shown on the photo above. Someone suggested it may be a "generic" submersible based on the French submersible "Nautilus"(??). I have not able to get Jeff Hess or anyone at Ball to give an official ID, so the mystery continues................................

It somewhat resembles this Shinkai 6500 Japanese submersible...
