Question: I know some of Ball watches are not COSC. For those that are not, is there a company standard for their watches that state they have to be within (using random numbers here) -5/+5 a day? For instance, if a consumer purchased the World Timer, what can the expect for accuracy, and if the watch went past the -5/+5 timeframe, would Ball adjust the movement under warranty? Thanks.

As I have stated before, I own 5 ball watches. All keep withon 3 seconds a day. You should have your watchmaker time the watch to see what it gains or loses in each position. That way you can adjust it yourself at night.

Not disputing what was said in other posts for yourself or other members. What I was asking if there were a company standard that "x" models, or all watches, are guaranteed to be within +/- so many seconds a day. I beleive the old standard was 30 seconds, which by todays standards, is unacceptable.
BTW, do you have pics of your collection?

My EMII Diver has been running at +4sec/day since I got it a month ago...

That is great time. It appears Ball is accurate; but, I would still be curious to see what they have as a standard and what they cover in warranty. Perhaps Jeremy can answer?

Ball watches are regulated before shipping in Switzerland. They are within claims of manufacturer. When I got mine, it was running +2s/day the first week. After 3 months, it ran fast at 11s/day. Ball had it regulated FOC. Service was good and prompt.
The possiblity of the timing variance is due to gears running in and lubrication responding to different environment. Weather in my country is hot throught the year. So far ETA is reliably predictable as a good workhorse and I expect my watch to settle down within this few months.

Ball Watches are confirmed to perform within +/- 10 seconds per day before leaving the factory.
