Just picked this one up. Oris TT1, SS, 44mm, Black. I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep it or sell it. I haven't worn or sized it yet so its up for consideration. Heres the goods, the watch is substantial to say the least, its very very heavy and its huge, well at least for me its huge 44mm is a big dog to me. The gloss balck dial is one of the best I've seen and same with the bracelet. I remember I had one of these last year with the blue dial and one of the first things you realize is the thick case and super heavy bracelet. The crystal is very thick, see thru screwdown back with a ETA Automatic and a nice red colored rotor (I like it) not overdone just nice. The unidirectional bezel is smooth and the screwdown crown is flawless. Theres no doubt this is one all around sport watch, a watch for wearing, swimming, diving, biking, or whatever it is you like. Heres some pics and it may be coming to a sales corner near you.

Awesome watch Jim! Makes me want to return my Invicta Scuba! I like the fact that it is a 46mm. My Scuba, at around 43mm, looks proportunate to my 8.25" wrist. I had an Ocean Ghost II and gave it to a friend. I miss that larger mm size.

Thanks. If you like big watches don't return your Scuba thats one heck of a watch. The only gripe I have with it is the bracelet is just so big what is mean is wide. I have never seen a watch with a bracelet so wide and thick at the same time. Its hard for guys to understand just how wide it is from the pics we've posted, but really its big big big. The Oris isn't so wide and is probably more to my taste although I would have preferred the 38mm Oris but that watch is no longer available. You can find the 44mm everywhere but try to find a new 38mm, its close to impossible. If you can get away with wearing the Scuba (I can't) then yes by all means wear that watch, its gorgeous, I like the dial and bezel best, very very nice, the Scuba is one fine watch and really is a watch built to last. I'm still thinking on the Oris, its defiantly nice and a great watch for anyone who like watches but its so big I'm just not sure if its for me.

That's a beauty Jim seems a shame that you might give it up.

I just can't decide, which is why I'm not wearing it (if I sell it I want to sell it as NIB so I'm not wearing it yet), if it was the 38mm I'd keep it for sure because this is no doubt one nice watch. Who knows what I'll do, it may be for sale or not, I just don't know. I'm thinking I'll list it to see ifs theres any interest.

Welcome to WTF Russ. Jim had that watch up for sale some time ago. Try sending him a PM and see if it's still for sale.

Welcome to WTF Russ. Jim had that watch up for sale some time ago. Try sending him a PM and see if it's still for sale. Thanks, but I think I'm ordering a TT1 200m Blue faced version in a couple of days. Decided I'd prefer that over the black. Both are great looking!

Jim Thanks for sharing. 44mm eh, wow!! But then, Oris do tend to go for the larger size. In fact, I'm a little surprised you went for it since as I recall, you seem to prefer watches around 39/40mm. If you do pass it on, hope you don't lose on it. Regards ZIN
