Yes cheers for that.
I have just bookmarked it myself for a closer study when I return from Scotland.

Yes, John, Paul's page is a great resource I refer to it quite a bit. Here is another great site, while it is commercial in nature if you look past the product plugs there are some great tips that can be easily used for watch photography. It helped me immensely. www.tabletopstudio.com/documents/HowTo_page.htmI would have posted this earlier but I have had a problem with my login and password that lasted for 204 days.

Nice resource Warren - I've ordered bulbs and risers from them before.

I went thru the site and some of the info is incorrect. I contacted the author, with no reply. Use it, but some things will not give you the visual result as described.

This site has one Major problem.. If you shoot a watch with a dark face it will have flair. That is why they are shooting a white face in all the photos. As a teaching commercial photographer, I would Not recommend that tent. The use of diffusion and bounce cards is the best way to get that effect and control the rest of the photo.

Thanks for that John. I was experimenting with lume shots last night and had a good play around with macro mode and long exposures. Results were pretty good, but it will interesting to try again after checking out this site.

This is the best I got so far. 10s exposure. My camera is a Canon Powershot G5, so I'm quite impressed that I managed to achieve this relatively easily. PS Now you can see where my Avatar shot comes from.

Thanks John, I'm new to this and it will be a great help. Those of us new to photograghy need all the help we can get without to much technical information until we understand what it means. this is something even I can grasp.
